On March 28, the second TERA-Award, which was jointly hosted by Hong Kong Towngas and State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) took place in Hong Kong. The theme of the TERA-Award is "Exploring Zero-Carbon Innovation for the Future" and 275 companies and organizations from 41 countries and regions around the world participated in the competition. 16 projects were finally selected to be awarded. Hytekocean won the Excellent Award for R&D and Market Application of PEM Fuel Cell.

Dr. Jiajie Li, Chairman of the Board of Hong Kong Towngas and Hong Kong China Smart Energy, Mr. Zhimin Qian, Chairman of SPIC, Mr. Zhanhuan Xie, Director of the Environment and Ecology Bureau of Hong Kong, Professor Yi Cui from Stanford University and other leaders, expert judges, partners and representatives of award-winning projects attended the award ceremony. 

Driven by the current round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, and based on a consensus among countries around the world, the world’s energy landscape is undergoing profound adjustments to promote a transition to clean, low-carbon energy in order to cope with global climate change. As a clean and carbon-free secondary energy source, hydrogen energy is an important component of the energy strategy in various countries. 

The Chinese Government also attaches great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry. During the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in 2019, based on various opinions, the statement “to promote the construction of hydrogen refueling facilities” was finally added to the government work report of 2019. In the Energy Law of the People’s Republic of China, it was proposed for the first time to incorporate hydrogen energy into the management of the energy system in order to coordinate the development of the hydrogen energy industry.
